So I think that fighting vampires has a lot of advantages, in the grand scheme of things. The bodies evaporating has to be my favorite feature though, I must admit.

Maybe it's just knowing that I'll never have to hear Deadpool speak again. That's definitely a bonus.

I've been working on spending more time out of the house. Looking for a job, finally. No interviews yet, but I'm patient. I can wait.

On the other hand, I tried my hand at hunting tonight. Found a nest of nasty looking vamps. Took on a handful, but I need to go back and wipe the place out as soon as I get patched up and gather more supplies. I want to get them before they abandon the place, so if there's anyone out there who wants to help out? It'd be sort of awesome if you could.

Faith's birthday is on the 14th. I'm gonna throw her a party. I've got the finances to buy supplies, I just need to figure out where we ought to do this along with who is going to show and be involved. Mind helping a guy out?

So..Did I ever tell you that I'm terrible at introductions? It's true if you can believe it. It's probably impossible to believe I know. But really..really terrible with first impressions.

Anyway..I told you I'd explain how I knew Kal-El. So I will the best I can.

But first in this city we're all from different worlds. Different times..there are different versions of us in these other times and worlds that are the same but different because of slightly altered events in history. I'm guessing mine is another time with a different you, because you don't recognize me, in my time I knew you or at least of you. Alternate realities if that makes sense. In mine it's 2009 and there are groups of heroes. The predominate one being the Justice League. Superman, Batman, the Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Hawk Girl, Martian ManHunter and others. The Teen Titans spawned from the Justice League with the Robin before me as the leader of that team who was Batman's first partner before I took over. He became Nightwing after I took over as Robin.

Kon was my best friend and teammate on the Teen Titans. He was Superboy, but he wasn't. He was a clone of Kal-El created by Cadmus Labs and Lex Luthor to recreate Kryptonian DNA because it couldn't be replicated or stabilized. He broke out of Cadmus Labs and found me and Impulse, we were in Metropolis but I can't remember why exactly, one mission or another that Batman sent us on. Through him I met Kal-El, who took pity on Kon and persuaded Martha and Jonathan Kent to adopt him while he trained him and taught him how to use his powers for good.

So I'm minding my own business. Kicking bad guy culo. Taking names. Looking ridiculously good in leather while I do it, if I do say so myself. I had just given this hombre talking to, when I spotted another bastardo coming out of nowhere. Can I point out how rude it is to try and sneak up on somebody? Anyway, I was all ready to shout out 'Hark who goes there!', when I ended up here.

Now. My theories are brain injury and concussion from that wall my head .. grazed or in truth I've fallen through the rabbit hole and in the next few seconds a cat suffering from Delusional Disorder will come up to me and tell me that this is all a wonderful life.

Brain damage. Or insanity. What's your theory. Feel free to discuss. I'm curious. My theory is insanity. Seeing as people here seem to think vampires exist and there are a lot of websites devote to Kent. It's disturbing

And did you know that my laptop isn't here? And that I'm not very happy about that? I thought you all should know. Hopefully, you'll be nice enough to point me to the direction of the person I should beat up blame.

ETA: Anyone want to tell me why Metropolis isn't on any maps but it shows up on wiki? Under comics?

Fatherhood is very rewarding. No, really, it is. I know I look like I haven't slept in a month, but even so!

I do have a serious question though, hope there's someone out there with some ideas. It's turning out to not be such a great idea to have a baby living in an apartment over a busy nightclub/bar. We don't close until the early hours, obviously, and the noise is huge. So does anyone have any way to maybe soundproof the apartment so the music and crowds don't keep Ailyn awake all night?

You know I realized we don't do this often enough, show a genuine interest in each other's lives. So this is how I'm going to rectify that.

Wow.. This is so much for us. For me..you found the material even for the jacket I tore. I..thank you. don't even really know what to say It's not Too much? You didn't have to do that you know.

Left in the living room at the Bradbury Building: A PlayStation 3 and likely every game for it known to man (no, he didn’t go overboard, okay!). There’s also new gear for Virgil to replace what was ruined and extra money in an envelope, obviously to be SHARED and in fact, this is stated so inside the envelope.

You know, having a knife held to your throat is really not fun for anyone. Just when you thought Walmart was safe. Then again, it's L.A., and night isn't always the best time, especially in a section of the lot that's not well lit. Still.. it could have been worse. Least it wasn't a bunch of troops with guns and other weapons again. Didn't really hurt, though. Just a bit of a poke. It was a bit tense for a moment. That mugger really wasn't playing around. He really wanted to cut me, and all for a game system But it's fine now. He's alive too, so it all works out.

The thing works quite nicely, especially on those flat-screen HD television sets. Not sure it'd look well on the regular TVs. Another funny thing about that amnesia thing, not once did I go to a fancy, five star restaurant. All fast food and microwave dinners. Of course, I go to the good places now. But then.. well. I liked KFC. Mmm, fried chicken. I like fried chicken now. Best I had, though, was Popeye's Chicken. Damn, that's good! Love chicken. I'd probably eat it every night. I can't believe how many Popeye's there are here. Guarantee you'd run across a few. Google search turned up at six to eight branches in this city. Can't really blame them, chicken is really good.
